Sarah Barth hosted an afternoon of gross stories, songs, and treats for all on June 25th. We enjoyed singing "Greasy Grimey Gopher Guts", getting "scabs" and making snot! We also ate wormy apples, hand-burgers and foot-dogs, with bloody hand punch.
Ryan and Payton VanWassenhove, the son and daughter of Charles and Jodi VanWassenhove of Kewanee, are pictured registering for the 2008 Get in the Game, READ! Summer Reading Program. Summer Reading begins June 2nd and runs through July 19th. Preschool to High School students served by the Kewanee Public Library District are welcome to participate free of charge.
